Gift Aid Appeal. The weekend 17th and 18th January 2009 saw a Gift Aid Appeal by Mr. Derek Pearce who spoke at all the Masses regarding the crucial role that Gift Aid plays in the financial support of our Parish. Following the appeal around 60 people joined the scheme. There were already approx. 150 parishioners already in the scheme. This was a fantastic response which will be a great help to the Parish finances. If you pay income tax and would like to help in this way, please find a leaflet at the back of both Churches explaining the scheme and how you can join . Joining the scheme does not incur any further expense to you. It allows the Parish to claim a refund of the Tax that you have already paid to the Government.
Please contact the Social Committee for details of fundraising events.
